Having an issue with Vantage? Start here. This section covers the most common problems and their solutions. Most issues can be resolved with a quick fix.
Quick fixes to try first
Before diving into specific issue categories, try these general steps:
- Hard refresh — Press Cmd+Shift+R (Mac) or Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows) to bypass cached assets
- Re-sync your catalog — Many issues are resolved by triggering a fresh catalog sync from the dashboard
- Wait a moment — If you just made changes in Shopify, give the sync a minute to process
- Check Shopify status — Rare platform-wide issues can affect all apps. Check status.shopify.com
Issue categories
Sync Issues
Problems with catalog syncing — stuck syncs, missing products, API errors, and slow imports.
Scoring Issues
Unexpected scores — all products same score, lower than expected, wrong category, scores not updating.
Metafield Issues
Metafield problems — not appearing on products, outdated values, missing definitions.
Billing Issues
Subscription problems — upgrade button not working, plan not changing, cancellation issues.
General Issues
App not loading, stale data, error messages, and other general problems.

Reporting a bug
When contacting support, please include:
- Your store URL (e.g., your-store.myshopify.com)
- The page where the issue occurs
- What you expected to happen
- What actually happened
- Any error messages displayed
- Your browser and version
