Having trouble with reports? Here are solutions to common problems.

Reports Not Loading

Problem: Reports show a loading spinner indefinitely.

Solutions:

  1. Refresh the page
  2. Try a shorter date range
  3. Clear browser cache
  4. Try a different browser
  5. Check your internet connection

Data Seems Incorrect

Problem: Report numbers don't match expectations.

Solutions:

  1. Date range - Verify the correct dates are selected
  2. Filters - Check if any filters are hiding data
  3. Timezone - Reports use your configured timezone
  4. Sync status - Ensure data is synced recently

Zero Values Showing

Problem: Reports show $0 for metrics that should have values.

Solutions:

  1. No data - No orders in the selected period
  2. Missing costs - Products may not have costs assigned
  3. Filter issue - Filters may be too restrictive
  4. Sync needed - Data may not be synced yet

Export Not Working

Problem: Report export fails or downloads empty file.

Solutions:

  1. Wait for the report to fully load before exporting
  2. Try a smaller date range
  3. Check browser download permissions
  4. Try a different export format (CSV vs Excel)

Comparison Period Wrong

Problem: Period comparison shows unexpected results.

Solutions:

  1. Comparison uses the same duration as the selected period
  2. Example: Comparing "Last 7 days" compares to the 7 days before that
  3. For custom dates, comparison is to the equivalent prior period

Charts Not Displaying

Problem: Charts show blank or error.

Solutions:

  1. Ensure JavaScript is enabled
  2. Try a different browser
  3. Clear browser cache
  4. Check for browser extensions blocking content

Scheduled Reports Not Arriving

Problem: Scheduled reports don't arrive by email.

Solutions:

  1. Check spam/junk folder
  2. Verify email address in settings
  3. Check schedule configuration
  4. Ensure your plan includes scheduled reports

Custom Report Issues

Problem: Custom reports aren't working as expected.

Solutions:

  1. Verify all required fields are selected
  2. Check filter logic (AND vs OR)
  3. Try simplifying the report first
  4. Save and reload the report

Performance Issues

Problem: Reports are slow to load.

Solutions:

  1. Use shorter date ranges
  2. Apply filters to reduce data
  3. Avoid loading multiple reports simultaneously
  4. Try during off-peak hours

Data Freshness

Reports reflect data as of the last sync:

  • Orders - Up to 15 minutes delay
  • Products - Up to 1 hour delay
  • Real-time - Dashboard metrics may have slight delays
