Installation Issues
Having trouble installing CostSync? Here are solutions to common problems.
Installation Fails
Problem: The app won't install from the Shopify App Store.
Solutions:
- Ensure you have admin access to your Shopify store
- Check that you haven't reached your app limit
- Try clearing your browser cache and cookies
- Use a different browser
Permission Errors
Problem: Installation fails due to permission issues.
Solutions:
- Verify you're the store owner or have staff permissions for app installation
- Contact your store owner to request app installation permissions
Blank Screen After Install
Problem: CostSync shows a blank screen after installation.
Solutions:
- Wait a few minutes - initial sync may be in progress
- Refresh the page
- Clear browser cache
- Try accessing from a different browser
- Check if your browser blocks third-party cookies
Products Not Syncing
Problem: Products don't appear after installation.
Solutions:
- Wait 5-10 minutes for initial sync to complete
- Click the "Sync" button in CostSync dashboard
- Check if you have products in your Shopify store
- Verify products are published and not draft
