Sync Preferences

Configure how and when CostSync synchronizes data with your Shopify store.

Automatic Sync

CostSync automatically syncs with Shopify to keep your data up to date.

What Gets Synced

  • Products - New products and updates
  • Orders - New orders and status changes
  • Inventory - Stock level changes

Sync Frequency

By default, CostSync syncs:

  • Orders: Every 15 minutes
  • Products: Every hour
  • Inventory: Every hour

You can adjust these in Settings > Sync Preferences.

Manual Sync

Trigger a manual sync when you need immediate updates:

  1. Click the Sync button in the top navigation
  2. Select what to sync (All, Products, Orders, or Inventory)
  3. Wait for the sync to complete
ℹ️
Note

Manual syncs are rate-limited to prevent API overload. Wait at least 5 minutes between manual syncs.

Sync History

View your sync history to troubleshoot issues:

  1. Go to Settings > Sync Preferences
  2. Click View Sync History
  3. See timestamps, types, and status of recent syncs

Sync Status Indicators

Troubleshooting Sync Issues

If syncs are failing:

  1. Check your Shopify connection status
  2. Verify API permissions are still active
  3. Review error messages in sync history
  4. Contact support if issues persist
