API Reference

CostSync does not currently offer a public REST API or API-key access in its current release.

Warning

The authenticated routes used by the embedded app are internal application endpoints, not a public developer API. API access is not a plan entitlement, including on Pro, so do not build integrations against undocumented endpoints or assume an API key can be generated.

Supported data flows

Use the currently supported workflows instead:

  • CSV import and export for product costs and reporting
  • Accounting exports to QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, and Xero on Growth and Pro
  • Data backup and restore on Growth and Pro

API availability

If a public API becomes available, its authentication method, endpoints, rate limits, and plan entitlement will be documented here before it is announced. For questions about integration requests, contact support.
